Looking back there was so little colour in my life...
there was and is a whole lot of colour in my world.

I love splish splashing through the fallen leaves...
the streams begin to fill again after the hot
dry summer...

one of my big boy dreams is to write a new national
anthem for our country. Likely as not there are
1200 or even 1800 others keen to do the same thing.

But until the fatefull day comes up I will always
be a contender.

So i learn and learn to sing a lot of old and
original tunes. So when the time comes for
my chance to create I will be ready!

Secrets are big items for adult children.
Some we need to keep and earn our trust.

About each other, as best we can...
the other ones we need to let go of,

break the code, but do it in an honest way.

Not nasty and vindictive.

I have to be nasty and vindictive sometimes.
Letting go of anger and locked in rage.

I pray for a place and a space in my world where it is
okay to do this....

...and then the good grace to move on and learn to live.

Music, colour, laughter, unlocks my spirit...

niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice....

David.

You would have gotten along well with William Bartram. He wrote about
the South did you know?

Hi Megan... At first I thought you were talking about the south in
NZ.
It there a difference in north NZ from south NZ as far as the people
are
concerned?

Yes I think there is. South Islanders are known to be much more
friendlier and layed back. We went on a trip to Christchurch a couple
years back and there's this place called Springs Junction. Two cars
had had a slight collision and instead of getting them off the bridge
while they waited for a tow truck, both cars just blocked the bridge
so there was traffic banked up either side. Us North Islanders
cauldn't believe it! That would NEVER happen in the North Island.
People were chatting to other unlookers, sharing coffee from picnic
baskets and generally chewing the breeze without a care in the world.
I didn't mind either, I took the opportunity to get some gorgeous
rocks - quartze too! funny times....island time...

Wow... this sounds a lot like the south here in the USA.
This is very interesting to me that the south seems to be more laid
back and friendlier not just here but in other countries as well.
But although this is true about the south here, it is also true that
the south can be more clickish.
